I support a fun space, and toxic free fandoms. I just want people to have fun as long as it's not hurting anyone regardless of shipping and characters they enjoy. This includes dark ship. I follow Japanese culture when it comes to these, but that doesn't mean I condone this in real life.I'm glad I am able to separate myself from fiction pretty well. I wouldn't be able to enjoy Berserk if that wasn't the case.With the abuse of lists on Bluesky I had to step away from it. A lot of toxic and immature people have entered.The lack of moderation on Bluesky has made it unbearable for me to use and I can't recommend it until this is fixed.I've noticed I can't even have conversation with these people and they're blocking without much thought. I'm done bothering with these people. It's a shame. Online and fandoms are supposed to be fun.It used to be fun on there, but not with that Twitter mentality. I'm not on Twitter much either and have mostly moved to Tumblr for my text posts. I never had an issue with proshippers and rarely random people online.So it really sucked to be put on a anti list just because I didn't want stuff sent to me that I didn't want to see. I don't think people realized it was actually a troll, and that's the last time I'll let someone make me upset.That's normal to have boundaries and all I wanted was for people to be considerate of others and I do the same. Now, I understand why there's so much division.Both antis and some proshippers need help, and there's more to life than fandom discourse. I'm neither because this is a very nuanced topic, and I rather not have either label since I'm not interested in such things.Again, have fun and curate your space. Sometimes it's best to step away from online and take a breather.
